Dear Mr. President,
As you know, polio is one of the most famous global diseases known in history. It is a deathly and dangerous thing. I would like to ask why cant this disease be a part of our past, taken away from our present, and eliminated from our future? 59 years ago, our friend Jonas Stalk discovered something that could lock up the fear that polio embedded into our societies minds and bodies; the polio vaccine. This vaccines job was not only to take away the disease but decrease the world's deaths and overcome the horrifying thoughts that this pathogen provided us, as it did. If we have this vaccine, then why isn't it not doing its job over in the middle east? Not because it doesn't want to cure, but because it doesn't have its choice of transportation. Places like Syria and Afghanistan have been exposed to a polio outbreak recently and is said it has been cause by the war conditions. We are aware of theses wars taking place because the Untied States army is involved over there. I would like to suggest a transportation of polio vaccine as we would not want this disease in America, nor do they want it there, and I am highly positive Europe doesn't want it either. Thank you for your time and effort to listen to my thoughts, please consider the suggestions.
Sincerely,
Madison Goodwin
